Having previously worked as a general practitioner in a vibrant and expanding regional boutique law firm for four (4) years, Francis has obtained a breadth of knowledge in a wide variety of areas of the law.
Francis has appeared in over 15 Courts across the East coast of Australia and is positioned to provide a suite of legal services to clients as required, alongside his particular special interest area of civil and commercial litigation.
Recent legal projects
- Carriage of matters in the NSW and Qld Supreme Courts regarding breach of contract, misuse of confidential information, patent infringement and partnership disputes;
- Obtained declarations from the NSW Land and Environment Court affirming the subsistence of an historical development consent
- Acting for the buyer in the acquisition of an accounting firm
- Drafting and registering restrictions of the use of land required by council to allow commercial development while protecting nearby koala habitat
