Ben Waldeck – IT and Technology Lawyer

Ben Waldeck - IT and Technology LawyerLL.B.,GDLP.,MQLS
Practice Leader, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT)

Prior to being called to the law, Ben had a background working in internet business both in programming and management roles in the eCommerce and software development sectors.

Since being called to the law, he has worked in both top-tier and boutique firms as a technology lawyer and as in-house counsel in a large government-owned organisation where he predominately advised the technology group.  Ben’s domain level expertise and ‘classical legal training’ is unparalled. It was whilst working in-house that he realised the value he is able to add to clients in the IT and technology sector because of his domain level expertise of their businesses. Clients don’t  have to spend unnecessary resources explaining how their software works.

Ben’s training as a programmer coupled with his background in the commercialisation of technology, combined with his legal experience enables him to provide unparalleled solutions to companies requiring legal advice from a lawyer that ‘gets it’.  Make no mistake, Ben talks bits and bytes.
