Having worked globally in the Information Technology industry for over 20 years, Michael possesses a depth of domain experience few lawyers have.  His career has seen him perform as a programmer, business analyst, project manager and a lawyer specialising in technology law.

Michael’s multi-disciplinary approach and qualifications extends his capacity to service clients by bridging the gap between business, technology and law.  Working across technology, commercial and corporate law, he excels in providing practical legal solutions to technology businesses, government agencies and corporations engaging in technology-based transactions.

Michael is also a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, being professionally designated as a Risk and Governance Professional, his international recognition as a Chartered Secretary will be achieved this year.

  • Acting in the acquisition of a telecommunications business.
  • Negotiating an IP license agreement with a quasi-government entity on behalf of a startup who was commercialising software.

  • Drafting shareholder’s, IP assignment and inter-company license agreements for a software developer undergoing a corporate re-structure.
