Prior to joining Dundas Lawyers, Roisin gained experience in the areas of science, risk management, investigations, legal support and insurance, providing her with a diverse range of knowledge and skills.  Having a strong eye for detail and well-developed research skills, she has demonstrated ability to build client relationships, manage complex cases and  draft legal documents for a variety of legal matters.  Roisin understands that each client matter is unique; she is passionate about advocating for clients in commercial / contractual matters and working with them to achieve desired outcomes.

Personal statement

Prior to practicing law, Roisin was involved in online reputation management and the removal of illegal content online, with a specific focus on areas of defamation, privacy and copyright as they relate to individuals and businesses. Her background in science has equipped her with strong analytical and research skills, with a sound ability to interpret and analyse medical and scientific information, which Roisin seeks to apply to intellectual property matters.

Roisin began her legal career as a law clerk in the criminal law sector, where she gained experience in criminal matters, Court procedures, drafting legal documents and case management.  Her experience in risk management and investigations provides Roisin with a unique view on the use of investigative methodologies in legal matters to achieve client outcomes, and she prides herself on her ability to think outside the box, her strong analytical skills and eye for detail.

Roisin also successfully founded her own businesses in tutoring and in the health and fitness industry and is passionate about supporting clients with commercial and consumer matters, including disputes.

External to work, Roisin enjoys pursuing her interests in health and fitness, gardening, cooking and reading history.
