Dundas Lawyers is an award winning boutique commercial law firm with a commitment to innovation and customer service.  In our 12th year of operation, the firm has developed an enviable reputation with its growing client base which range from technology companies to high net worth individuals, multinationals and international businesses.

We have a need for a Lawyer who can relate to our vision for technical excellence, innovation and commitment to customer service.   We are undergoing somewhat of a transformation in terms of how we service our clients and improve service delivery through sharepoint.   For further information visit www.dundaslawyers.com.au where you’ll find 600 articles that relate to our areas of practice.

The role

The role will involve working with our existing clients on matters ranging from general commercial contracts, to business sales, IP protection and enforcement, commercialisation and corporations disputes.  The work provided can also be “shaped” depending on the skillset of the successful candidate and their professional interests.

The role will enable the successful candidate to develop into an area of specialty that involves all aspects of service delivery including:

  • end to end management of client matters in conjunction with the Principal, or autonomously;
  • using document automation systems and developing processes to better service clients needs;
  • contributing towards the internal knowledge base.

Will you be trained in intellectual property and or IT Law?

Yes, it’s no problem if you are a lawyer with some experience and are looking to get into niche areas of law.   We will train you as you will be working with two (2) senior lawyers who will assist with your understanding of various niche areas of law that we practice in.

The benefits

The successful candidate will receive the following:

  • an above market remuneration package;
  • some flexibility in regard to working from home or our 5 star CBD office;
  • low billable hour targets;
  • potential for regular flexible time commitment; and
  • genuine “equity” potential.

The person

You must:

  • have an unblemished Practicing Certificate;
  • be highly motivated and have a client friendly attitude;
  • take a commercial approach to the pursuit of client objectives – be a problem solver not a problem finder;
  • be highly computer literate with advanced skills in MS word;
  • enjoy the practice of law and knowledge acquisition.

A hunger for career progression and to be part of a growing success story is essential.   For further information please direct confidential inquiries to:
